Chuck Singleton is GM of WFUV in New York, Fordham University’s music discovery station. Prior to 2011, as WFUV’s program director, Chuck focused and expanded its Triple A music programming, recruited its air staff, and led development of the indie music service, "The Alternate Side." Chuck originally joined WFUV as its first news and public affairs director, where he developed coverage of community issues and the station’s respected student training program. A “public radio lifer,” Chuck got his start in 1980 at WXPN as host and producer of music shows, interviews, and cultural features. Chuck is the current Chair of Eastern Region Public Media.
